September 28th, 2010 No comments

When people think of the top features of the T-Mobile G2, they often think of the HSPA+ interface, the gorgeous 3.7 inch capacitive display capable of 720p playback, the LED flash backed 5 MP camera, gobs of internal memory, or even the 800 MHz Snapdragon CPU. These are certainly selling points, but they are common to all T-Mobile G2 phones. What separates one T-Mobile G2 phone from the next is ultimately what makes the T-Mobile G2 so delightful: the wonderful assortment of T-Mobile G2 accessories.

Sometimes referred to as Google G2 accessories by vendors, there is already a growing market to T-Mobile G2 accessories at the time that this article was written and the phone is not even out on the market yet! That says something about both the popularity of the T-Mobile G2 as a phone as well as the quality and variety of parts marketed as T-Mobile G2 accessories and/or Google G2 accessories. There are certainly more T-Mobile G2 and/or Google G2 accessories to come, but you should take a moment to think about what kind of T-Mobile G2 accessories are on the market.

Some of the most outstanding features of the T-Mobile G2 are the glorious touch-sensitive HD screen and the amazing 5 MP camera. Since the G2′s camera relies heavily on the screen both as a viewfinder and as a playback device, it is important to protect the screen. Since the screen is also a touchscreen, the T-Mobile G2 screen protectors should be able to protect and allow for tactile control on the phone. This is easier said than done, as it is a real challenge to find a material that allows capacitive multi-touch performance and accuracy while still protecting a very valuable screen. Customers who value their media playback, touch-screen performance and the freedom to treat their mobile device with less care than that associated with an expensive camera or newborn baby.

T-Mobile G2 screen protectors are not the only Google G2 accessories that are important to consumer. Cases, cleaning equipment and even add on memory cards are all very important to different groups of consumers with different and potentially unique needs. Some may want a nice, trendy looking case that can also protect because they always drop their phone. Others may want the latest BlueTooth accessories to compliment their new G2. Everyone is different and unique and there are more than enough ways to customize the amazing T-Mobile G2 smartphone. Just remember, some accessories are listed as Google G2 accessories, so do not miss out on a few great options just because of a naming mistake!

Learn How to Copy Your Xbox 360 Games the Right Way

September 28th, 2010 No comments

You are in a great risk of losing your favorite Xbox games, mainly because of scratches that is unavoidable because of the DVD drive in your consol, but also because of humidity, sunlight and perhaps small accidents like dropping sodas on your games.

The days where you could open your Xbox and do some modifications to it by rewiring and install different types of chips, and then start copying your favorite games, are over.

Xbox Live lead by Microsoft have proclaimed their new zero tolerance policy over for gamers that log on Xbox Live and plays with a modded Xbox 380, if you do so, you will get banned from the online gaming network.

Beside that you put your Xbox console in a great risk of over burn by modifying it. And there is no free repairs on any consoles you have been trying to modify.

Unfortunately these rules from Xbox Live and the warrant policies put us games in a bad situation because none of us want to lose our favorite games, especially because we know it is impossible to get a new copy of the game or at least get our money back if anything happens to the DVD the games are stored on.

Good news is there is a new game burning software released that puts the focus on the file structure on a game console and not a pc. This means the software is able to Burn  and exact 1:1 copy of the original game.

Now you can actually Burn Xbox 360 games without any mod chip installed into your Xbox 360.

The way I do it is to create ISOs I save on a hard drive and from there I create my backups of the original games every time I need a new copy.

You just have to make sure to use the right DVD format which is DVD 9 for Xbox 360 games, then the game burning software takes care of the rest to Backup Xbox 360 games

Is The Screen Size And Resolution The Best Feature Of The Samsung Fascinate?

September 28th, 2010 No comments

The Samsung Fascinate is another addition to the versatile Android phone line. It can sometimes be hard to tell apart these phones by their looks form a distance, as all are similarly-sized, sleek, black phones with large touch screens on the front. However, up close, the screen of the Samsung Fascinate is clearly different from the rest. The AMOLED screen along with the color looks amazing.

The AMOLED technology it uses (also known as active-matrix organic light-emitting diode) is a special type of LED screen. Like most LED screens, it’s fairly conservative with its energy output while looking great. The AMOLED doesn’t need a backlight, which helps to save energy, but it still doesn’t do well in direct sunlight. Without going into too much technical detail, both the organic part and the active-matrix part of the name are extra features which server to enhance the already great picture that you would get from an LED. AMOLEDS maintain higher contrast ratios and visually appealing colors. Samsung uses a specific type of Amoled that they have dubbed the “Super Amoled” screen – while the super part is a bit subjective, it is a more polished variation of the Amoled screen.

The 4 inch screen has an 800 x 480 resolution. While this doesn’t quite stack up to the iPhone 4′s 960 x 640 display, it’s pretty close. Apple claims that the human eye cannot discern pixels above 300 DPI (Dots Per Inch), although some sources cite a higher number. The iPhone 4 has a 326 DPI screen, while the Samsung Captivate is a bit less. Nonetheless, it’s virtually impossible to note the difference between few tens of dots per inch.

While the iPhone 4′s resolution is slightly higher, the Samsung Fascinate’s AMOLED screen shows a difference. Think of the iPhone 4 as having more dots (pixels), but the Fascinate having higher quality ones. Some people would still go for the iPhone, but most would choose the Fascinate.

There are, of course, quite a number of other factors which consumers use to determine which phone to purchase, so the screen isn’t the only one. However, the screen is a major part of the phone, and the screen is really what sets the Fascinate apart from other Android phones. To help protect your Fascinate, you may want to get Samsung Fascinate accessories, like screen protectors. Other Fascinate accessories which you may need include Samsung Fascinate Chargers, and cases. There is quite a bit to consider when choosing a phone. Going into a store and actually looking the Samsung Fascinate’s screen is a great way to see for yourself what a difference the Amoled screen makes.
