Flat Screen TV Wall Mounting: Simple & Easy
Are you worried about wall mounting of your flat screen TV? No need to worry any more if you read this article. A TV wall mount bracket is the first thing you need for wall mounting of your TV.
Now, there are three types of brackets used in TV wall mounting and which form the basis of the three types of wall mounting of your flat screen. The brackets available in the market include low-profile, tilting and full-motion wall mounts. They have their own advantages and disadvantages as well.
TV Wall Mount Using Low-Profile Brackets
Mounting a flat TV using a low-profile bracket is the most convenient option than other two available options and is the lowest-cost option too. The wall mounting of a TV using a low-profile bracket is very similar to hanging a portrait on the wall. While this is the simplest to install, it has a limitation that you cannot tilt the TV from its position once it is installed. This is a disadvantage that makes it difficult to change cables of your TV. Since it’s a flat panel and mounted on a wall, you will have to physically take the TV out of the wall every time when you need to change its cables.
Tilting Installation of Flat TV
These brackets are bit costlier than the low-profile ones but are cheaper than the full-motion wall mounting brackets. The installation of this type of brackets is not very complicated, and akin to a low-profile mount. The key benefit that a titling wall mounting gives you that you will be able to set your vertical angle viewing, which is not possible in a low-profile mount. These mounting brackets have a spin in the middle of the brackets. This pivot helps to maintain a great viewing angle as per the convenience of the viewer. It’s not so difficult to change cables in a tilting mount, which is virtually impossible in case of a low-profile mount.
Full-Motion TV Wall Mount
Full-motion TV wall mount is costlier than the two but gives you a liberty of moving your wall mounted TV as per your convenience. Other two types of the mounts are less expensive than a full-motion mount. Installation of a full-motion mount involves a great degree of complexity. They come with moving pieces or arms which make the installation a bit complicated. You will certainly need 2-3 more people when you will try to wall mount your TV using full-motion mount brackets.
