P2P and BitTorrent what the hells the difference?

P2P BitTorrents whats the remainder?
We have all in those quiet moments asked those philosophical questions.. Whats the significance of biography What came first poulet or egg? What the hell is the difference between P2P and BitTorrents???
If you pct my curiousity then read on and become intelligent. What is the difference between a P2P client and a Bit Torrent client?
Its not really that easy to answer because they are pretty comparable with just subtle differences. They both make use of the collective to download and share files. fashioning use of many different PC’s that are hooked onto the vane.
Bit Torrents sharing

Bit Torrents make use of multiple computers and receive any file in pieces/packets/chunks. The torrent breaks the files into small pieces, thus letting you download that precious file from many so that for every chunk you download, it gets uploaded to another person who wants it.  BitTorrent is often referred to as ‘true P2P sharing’ because instead of publishers servers being used to distribute the files, BitTorrent users do the file serving themselves. The Torrent community of users voluntarily upload their files into the swarm and are motivated by the cooperative spirit. BitTorrent also adds incentives to generous users.

The Torrent sharing philosiphy goes like this:-
if you share your files on Bit Torrent then your reward will be an increased download speed. However if you just leech and dont share your files then your download speeds will be slowed down. So in effect your generousity is rewarded. This downloading speed is controlled by the BitTorrent tracking servers. They will monitor all of the ‘swarm’ users. If a user shares files then the tracker servers reward you with and increased swarm bandwidth parcelling. Dont share and you’ll find your downloading speed creeping around 1k per sec.
P2P Peer2Peer sharing

Both have their benefits and disadvantages, peer2peer (P2P) is good for downloading small files such as ane track songs (but not cd’s), film? clips etc.Bit Torrents are proper more for the bigger files. But i like to use FrostWire (p2p) for small files and Azures (torrent client) for large files.

Netflix the DVD renting firm based in the USA and having a very internet based name is offering an live internet tv and movie download service. The company specialising in the postal DVD rental line has seen the light and is finally offering an online tv rental of a selection of titles.
Existing subscribers can download movies and other programmes over the net for free.
This ‘online dvd rental’ of movies films and picture is limited to a selection of around 1,000 plus titles (expanding to 5,000 later this year) and is useable to a select few subscribers. Netflix long term aim is of course to rent movies straight to your living room negating the need for costly postal charges and lost items etc. Because internet tv and pc development is growing so rapidly this service that wasnt technically imaginable is now the main focus of many companies plans.

Apple is also reportedly preparing to launch an online movie rental service, which could boost its own live TV set-top box.
So come on Blockbuster, when are you gonna catch up?
