• A RAID-5 volume a fault-tolerant volume whose data is striped across a series of three or more disks allows stripping across different disks. In case a physical disk goes wrong, it can be re-created from the remaining data and the parity. It is a pity that RAID-5 volume cannot be mirrored or expanded.

It is pregnant to apply Dynamic disk because of its many advantages on operation. It’s a pity that Windows 7/XP/Vista Home Edition does not support dynamic disk, which means dynamic disk became these versions invalid.
